Specialist – Cloud Services and Architecture

Job title: Cloud Services Specialist

Requirements:

•8+ years of experience working in web application and microservice development, support domain – at-least 4+ years of experience in developing applications and microservice on Microsoft Azure.

•Should have extensive experience with the latest technology stacks, NoSQL dbs, and DevOps.

•Design/Develop self-contained RESTful microservices with: o Java 8/ Java 11 using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.

•Experience on working across various services and components in Azure

•Strong knowledge on developing MSA based applications using Java Springboot, Angular JS, Node JS, Javascript & etc.

•Experience in designing/developing the solutions in Agile way of delivery

•Knowledge and experience with automated test tools

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible to design and develop and maintain of the microservices and reusable assets

•Design microservice based architecture aiming for reusability and scalability across Olam digital projects.

•Should own and maintain the microservices catalogue and make sure it’s reusability across the projects

•Should ensure that each service is self-contained and able to scale easily

•Ensure each microservice is meeting its NFR’s.

•Able to define automated test strategy to ensure the quality of the delivered cloud application/microservice.

•Experience with CI/CD and devOps to support continuous delivery of the application.

•Work close closely with a cross-disciplinary team, including technology, business team, marketing and country teams to understand the business requirements and design the necessary solution
